At the Anime and Japan Expo Dokomi in Düsseldorf last weekend, around 45,000 visitors were welcomed by both bright sunshine and blooming gardens. Some of our editors were also on site and could capture impressions for our instagram page.
Every convention also features numerous guests of honour: In the course of this year’s partnership with Canada, cosplayer Phil Mizuno visited Dokomi 2018. Also among the guests were the singers Eri Sasaki and Megumi Nakajima. Numerous photographers and cosplayers gathered in the Japanese garden and used the fantastic weather for beautiful photos, and the photo corners on the exhibition grounds were also actively used.
The dance freaks among you got their money’s worth at the Cosplayball and also at the J-Disco.
